FAQ

We hope we can answer some of your questions here, but if not, please call and we'd be more than happy to help!

Why should I come to PT?

Our team of doctorate level physical therapists are trained to assess, diagnose, and treat movement dysfunctions and orthopedic conditions. We are also trained to review the other systems of your body and will refer you out to other healthcare providers if you have a diagnosis that is out of our scope of practice. You can trust that you are in great hands and your needs and concerns will be met in order to get you moving better and back to the things you love.

How long will my appointment be?

An initial evaluation is 60 minutes and we kindly ask that you arrive 15 minutes early.

Each follow-up visit will also be 60 minutes.

Please arrive on time to all appointments out of respect for our team and other patients' time and so that you can get the most out of your visit!

Do I have to see my Doctor first?

Nope! NJ law allows you to seek out physical therapy services through direct access. This means you do not need a physician referral for PT services. If we find something that your doctor should know about, we will communicate that clearly to you and from there recommend the appropriate next steps.

What should I wear to my appointment?

We kindly ask that you dress appropriately in clothing that is easy to move in. We also recommend wearing sneakers. We provide water, but feel free to bring your own as well!

How long will I need PT for?

It depends! Every body is very different and may have multiple deficits and movement dysfunctions that require a longer episode of care. During your initial evaluation, your PT will be able to estimate how long you will require our services for and will inform you of your PT prescription that day!
