About Dr. McKenzie
Bio
McKenzie brings over seven years of experience in outpatient physical therapy, delivering a highly personalized and elevated approach to care. Her work is grounded in a deep commitment to understanding each patient as an individual—their goals, lifestyle, and expectations. She believes exceptional care extends beyond treating symptoms; it requires thoughtful listening, meaningful education, and a collaborative partnership. Through this approach, McKenzie empowers her patients to take an active, confident role in their recovery while guiding them toward lasting, pain-free movement.
She has pursued extensive continuing education in lumbar stabilization, cervical spine care, mobilization with movement, ACL rehabilitation, and gluteus medius dysfunction. With a specialized focus in cancer rehabilitation, McKenzie provides compassionate, comprehensive care for individuals at every stage of their journey, including survivorship. Her treatment philosophy is rooted in a patient-centered approach, ensuring each plan of care is thoughtfully tailored to support optimal recovery and long-term wellness.
McKenzie earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Slippery Rock University. She is dedicated to helping patients return not only to activity, but to the lifestyle and level of performance they value most—restoring a sense of strength, confidence, and vitality.
Outside the clinic, McKenzie enjoys running, spending time at the beach, gardening, cooking and baking, and creating meaningful moments with her family—an extension of her belief in living a balanced, active, and fulfilling life.
